Description:- This beautiful custom made Greek Shield features a Spartan helmet design inspired by actual Ancient Greek art. The shield is formed of wood and therefore the design has been meticulously hand-painted for a real authentic look and feel. Just like the traditional Greek hoplite shields of old. This shield is slightly concave shaped and features a flat brace attached to the rear to form carrying and cord the shield easier. Heavy leather straps are attached to the backside and are spaced and positioned to supply optimum balance when holding. The shield has also been applied with a coat of topcoat/clearcoat to further protect and preserve it from wear.
