Description:- Until he fell in battle to the hero Sigurd, The Dragon Fafnir used a logo referred to as the Helm of Awe to guard himself. Due to this tale, Viking warriors often painted this symbol on their shields as displayed by the Helm of Awe Viking Shield. This round wooden shield displays a stark white Helm of Awe against a field of brown. The middle features a round shield boss made from steel and therefore the edges are reinforced with riveted steel. On the rear there is a bar for securely gripping the shield and a leather strap for keeping your arm in comfortable. For any reenactment or other medieval event, the Helm of Awe Viking Shield is simply what you would like to finish your Norse warrior ensemble.
